Pasco 56244SR Flexible Coupling 4 in Clay to Cast Iron/Plastic

Product Description

Pasco 56244SR is a 4-inch flexible coupling with a stainless steel shear ring designed to connect clay pipe to cast iron or plastic pipe. The coupling uses a flexible sleeve manufactured from natural or synthetic rubber or vinyl and stainless steel worm gear clamps and shear ring to provide a watertight transition for DWV and non-pressure applications. The fitting accommodates minor misalignment and is intended for repair and transition of dissimilar piping materials.

• Connects 4 in clay pipe to 4 in cast iron or plastic using a flexible sleeve and stainless steel shear ring
• 300 series stainless steel worm gear clamps and shear ring; shear ring minimum thickness 0.18 in; torque to 80 lb
• Meets ASTM C-1173-2002 and IAPMO 4933 standards; suitable for DWV and non-pressure transitions
