Installation Notes

ER32 collets are installed and removed by machinists using the appropriate ER32 collet nut and spanner wrench - do not use substitute tools that may damage the collet flange or nut threads. Always de-energize and lock out the machine spindle before changing collets. Inspect the collet bore and taper surfaces for chips, burrs, or wear before seating; contamination on the taper will directly affect runout and clamping force. Do not exceed the collet's clamping range, as under- or over-sized shanks will result in poor grip and reduced tool life.
