The PARLEC ER25-0125 is an ER25 series collet designed to hold tooling with a 0.125 inch (1/8 inch) shank diameter. The collet measures 1.338 inches in overall length with a 1.023 inch overall diameter, making it a compact, standard-profile ER25 unit. A minimum collet capacity of 0.086 inch allows it to grip smaller-diameter tooling as well. Machinists and toolroom technicians install this collet into an ER25-compatible chuck or toolholder to achieve repeatable tool runout and rigid clamping during cutting operations.

Installation Notes

Installation is performed by qualified machinists or toolroom technicians. Before installing or removing the collet, ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and all power is isolated per your facility lockout/tagout procedure. Seat the collet into the ER25 chuck nut before threading the nut onto the toolholder body, then insert the tool shank to the appropriate depth before torquing the nut with a proper ER spanner wrench. Do not over-torque the collet nut, as this can distort the collet bore and reduce clamping accuracy.
