The PARKER XVP502SS-6 is a standard manual ball valve designed for inline flow control in industrial and mechanical piping systems. Built with a 316 stainless steel body and trim, it handles a maximum working pressure of 600 psi and seats on reinforced polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) seals. The full-port design minimizes flow restriction across the valve. The padlock-style handle allows for lockout/tagout procedures, making it suitable for systems that require positive isolation. This valve is installed by licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and HVAC-R technicians working with corrosion-resistant piping assemblies.
The XVP502SS-6 is well suited for corrosive-fluid and high-pressure applications in commercial and industrial environments where stainless steel construction is required. The 3/8 inch FNPT x FNPT end connections thread directly into standard female NPT fittings on both sides. Typical installations include chemical lines, refrigerant-adjacent piping, compressed gas distribution, and process fluid systems where 316 stainless steel material grade and NACE MR-01-75 compliance are specified.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation manual ball valve for 3/8 inch FNPT piping assemblies requiring 316 stainless steel construction and NACE MR-01-75 compliance.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or pipefitter following applicable piping codes such as ASME B31.3 for process piping. Depressurize and drain the line completely before removing or installing any valve. Apply appropriate thread sealant to NPT connections per system fluid compatibility requirements. Do not exceed the rated working pressure of 600 psi under any operating condition.
