The PARKER XVP502SS-4 is a standard manual ball valve designed for inline flow control in demanding fluid and gas piping systems. Built from 316 stainless steel with a stainless steel trim and reinforced polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) seats and seals, it handles a maximum working pressure of 600 psi. The full port design minimizes pressure drop across the valve, and the padlock-capable handle allows the valve position to be locked out for maintenance and safety compliance. This valve is installed by licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and HVAC technicians in commercial and industrial piping applications.
The XVP502SS-4 is suited for corrosive or high-purity service environments where 316 stainless steel construction is specified. The FNPT x FNPT end connections accept standard threaded pipe fittings, making it compatible with most threaded stainless or carbon steel pipe assemblies. Its NACE MR-01-75 compliance makes it appropriate for sour-gas and oilfield-related service, as well as chemical processing, instrumentation lines, and industrial fluid systems requiring corrosion resistance and reliable shutoff.
Designed as an OEM-style threaded ball valve for use in 1/4 inch FNPT piping systems requiring 316 stainless steel construction and full port flow characteristics.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or pipefitter in accordance with applicable IPC and facility piping codes. Depressurize and drain the line completely before removing any existing valve or fitting. Apply appropriate thread sealant rated for the service media to all FNPT connections. Confirm valve orientation and handle clearance before final assembly, and verify system pressure does not exceed the 600 psi maximum working pressure rating.
