The PARKER XV520P-6 is a 2-piece standard manual ball valve designed for fluid shutoff and flow control in plumbing, HVAC, and general industrial piping systems. The valve body and trim are constructed from brass, providing corrosion resistance in water, oil, and many common fluid applications. It accepts 3/8 inch female NPT (FNPT) connections on both ends and is rated for a maximum working pressure of 650 psi. A lever handle provides quick quarter-turn operation for fast shutoff. The reinforced PTFE seat and seal material delivers a reliable, low-friction shut against line pressure. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters are the typical installers for this valve in both commercial and residential service lines.
This valve is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing, hydronic heating systems, compressed air lines, refrigeration piping, and general utility fluid control where a compact inline shutoff is required. The 3/8 inch FNPT x FNPT end connections make it a straightforward threaded installation into existing pipe runs without additional adapters in most applications. Its brass construction and reinforced PTFE seating make it a practical choice for water service, oil lines, and many non-aggressive fluid systems where a dependable manual ball valve is needed.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation manual ball valve for 3/8 inch threaded pipe systems in plumbing, HVAC hydronic, compressed air, and general fluid control applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified pipefitter in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and IPC requirements. Shut off and depressurize the line completely before removing any existing valve or fitting. Apply thread sealant or PTFE tape to all male NPT threads before assembly and tighten to hand-tight plus the appropriate number of turns per thread size without over-torquing the brass body. Verify pressure rating of all adjacent components before returning the system to service.
