The PARKER XV501SS-6 is a standard 2-piece manual ball valve rated for full-port flow in demanding industrial and mechanical applications. Built from 316 stainless steel throughout the body, trim, and handle, this valve delivers consistent shutoff performance up to 2000 psi working pressure. A lever handle provides fast quarter-turn operation for open and close cycles. Reinforced polytetrafluoroethylene (RPTFE) seats and seals resist a wide range of aggressive media while maintaining a low operating torque. The 3/8 inch MNPT x FNPT end connections make it straightforward to thread into existing pipe runs without special adapters.
This valve is suited for use in HVAC hydronic systems, refrigeration piping, chemical process lines, compressed air systems, and other applications where corrosion resistance and high-pressure shutoff capability are required. The 316 SS construction and NACE MR-01-75 compliance make it appropriate for mildly corrosive or sour-service environments where carbon steel hardware is not acceptable. It is commonly installed by pipefitters, plumbers, and mechanical contractors in both commercial and light industrial settings.
Designed as a standard-thread manual ball valve for 3/8 inch NPT pipe connections in industrial, mechanical, and HVAC piping systems requiring stainless steel construction and 2000 psi rated shutoff service.
This valve should be installed by a licensed pipefitter, plumber, or qualified mechanical contractor in accordance with applicable codes including ASME B31.1 or B31.3 as relevant to the system type. Depressurize and drain the piping system fully before removing any existing valve or fitting. Apply thread sealant appropriate for the service media to the male threads before assembly. Do not use the lever handle as a wrench or apply excessive torque to the valve body during installation.
