The PARKER XV501SS-16 is a standard manual ball valve designed for demanding fluid and gas control applications in industrial, commercial, and mechanical systems. Built with a 316 stainless steel body, trim, and handle, this 2-piece valve accepts 1-inch pipe with MNPT x FNPT end connections and delivers full-port flow with minimal pressure drop. A reinforced polytetrafluoroethylene (RPTFE) seat and seal provide chemical resistance and reliable shutoff across a wide range of media. The lever handle allows for quick quarter-turn operation. At a maximum working pressure of 2000 psi (138 bar), this valve is rated for high-pressure service and weighs 2.23 pounds.
This valve is suited for use in industrial piping systems, HVAC mechanical rooms, process lines, and plumbing applications where corrosion resistance and high-pressure shutoff capability are required. The 316 stainless steel construction makes it appropriate for corrosive media and outdoor or washdown environments. Plumbers, pipefitters, and industrial maintenance technicians install this valve as a service isolation or shutoff point in 1-inch threaded piping systems. The MNPT x FNPT configuration allows straight in-line installation without additional fittings on most threaded runs.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation manual ball valve for 1-inch threaded piping systems requiring full-port flow and MNPT x FNPT end connections.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or pipefitter in accordance with applicable IPC or ASME B31 piping codes. Isolate and depressurize the system fully before installing or removing any valve. Use appropriate thread sealant on the male NPT threads and avoid over-tightening, which can distort the valve body. Confirm flow direction and pressure ratings are compatible with the system before returning the line to service.
