The PARKER XV501SS-12 is a 2-piece, full-port manual ball valve rated for up to 2000 psi working pressure. Built from 316 stainless steel throughout the body and trim, it uses a reinforced PTFE seat and seal to maintain a reliable shutoff across a wide range of media. The lever handle allows quick quarter-turn operation for isolation or flow control. Connections are MNPT x FNPT at 3/4 inch, making installation straightforward in threaded pipe systems. This valve is designed for demanding process, industrial, and mechanical applications where corrosion resistance and high-pressure performance are required.
The XV501SS-12 is suited for industrial process piping, chemical handling, oil and gas service, and HVAC or plumbing systems where stainless steel construction is specified. Its full-port design minimizes pressure drop through the valve, which is important in flow-critical applications. The valve meets NACE MR-01-75 standards, making it appropriate for sour-service and corrosive-media environments. Installation is typically performed by licensed pipefitters, plumbers, or mechanical contractors working on threaded iron or stainless steel pipe systems.
Designed as a standard replacement or new-installation manual ball valve for 3/4 inch threaded pipe systems requiring MNPT x FNPT end connections and full-port flow capacity.
Installation should be performed by a qualified pipefitter, plumber, or mechanical contractor following applicable codes such as ASME B31.1 or B31.3 for process piping. Shut off and depressurize the system completely before removing or installing any valve. Use appropriate thread sealant rated for the media and pressure being handled. Do not exceed the rated working pressure of 2000 psi or operate below the minimum temperature rating of 0 degrees F.
