The PARKER XV501P-12 is a standard manual ball valve designed for fluid shutoff and flow control in plumbing, HVAC, and light industrial piping systems. Built with a full brass body, brass trim, and brass lever handle, this two-piece valve provides reliable on/off control at a 3/4 inch pipe connection. It features MNPT x FNPT end connections for straightforward inline installation. The reinforced polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) seats and seals deliver chemical resistance and long service life. Maximum working pressure is rated at 600 psi. This valve is installed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and pipefitters in both residential and commercial applications.
The XV501P-12 is suited for inline shutoff service on water, gas, and compatible fluid lines where a 3/4 inch threaded connection is required. The lever handle allows for quick quarter-turn operation, making it practical in mechanical rooms, equipment closets, and utility piping runs. Its brass construction makes it a common choice for potable water and hydronic heating systems. Installers working on boiler loops, chilled water lines, and domestic water distribution commonly specify this valve type.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation manual ball valve for 3/4 inch threaded pipe systems in plumbing and HVAC applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified pipefitter in accordance with applicable IPC and local plumbing code requirements. Shut off the water or fluid supply and relieve system pressure before removing or installing any valve. Use pipe thread sealant tape or compound on all threaded connections and verify joint integrity before returning the system to service. Do not exceed the rated working pressure of 600 psi.
