The PARKER WC39R10S is a string-wound cartridge filter designed for plumbing and industrial water filtration applications. Built with an acetate cotton string-wound media and a stainless steel core, it delivers 1 micron filtration performance to remove fine sediment, rust particles, and suspended solids from water lines. The 2.5-inch outside diameter and 10-inch length fit standard filter housings common in commercial and residential plumbing systems. Rated to 250 degrees F maximum working temperature, this cartridge handles hot water and process fluid applications where many standard filters fall short. Plumbing contractors and water treatment technicians are the primary installers.
This filter cartridge is suited for point-of-entry and point-of-use water filtration systems, as well as light industrial process water lines. Its 1 micron rating makes it appropriate for pre-filtration ahead of reverse osmosis systems, UV sterilizers, or other downstream treatment equipment. The acetate cotton string-wound construction provides depth filtration, trapping particles throughout the media rather than only at the surface, which extends service intervals in moderately loaded systems.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement for standard 10-inch cartridge filter housings accepting a 2.5-inch outside diameter string-wound filter element.
Installation is performed by licensed plumbers or water treatment technicians. Shut off the water supply and relieve system pressure before opening the filter housing. Follow local plumbing codes, including IPC guidelines, when replacing cartridges in pressurized water systems. Do not exceed the 250 degrees F working temperature rating of this cartridge.
