The PARKER WC23R20 is a string-wound plumbing cartridge filter designed for sediment removal in water treatment and plumbing distribution systems. Built from acetate cotton wound over a tinned steel core, this filter delivers 5 micron particulate filtration across its full 20-inch length. The 2.5-inch outside diameter fits standard filter housings common in residential and light commercial water treatment applications. With a maximum working temperature of 250 degrees F, this cartridge handles both cold and hot water service lines. Licensed plumbers and water treatment technicians are the primary installers.

This filter is suited for whole-house sediment filtration, commercial water pre-filtration, and point-of-entry plumbing systems where suspended particulates such as sand, silt, rust, and scale must be removed before water reaches downstream equipment.
