The PARKER W68PLPR-4-4 is a round body male connector tube fitting that joins 1/4 inch OD tubing to a 1/4 inch NPTF male threaded port using a push-to-connect inlet. Constructed from nickel-plated brass, it is rated for a maximum working pressure of 300 psi and handles temperatures from 0 degrees F to 200 degrees F. The push-to-connect end accepts tubing with a simple push-in action, eliminating the need for ferrules or compression nuts on the tube side. HVAC technicians, plumbers, and refrigeration mechanics use this fitting in control tubing, pneumatic sensing lines, and fluid transfer applications where a quick, reliable tube-to-threaded-port connection is required.
This fitting is suited for residential and light commercial applications involving copper, nylon, or polyethylene tubing routed to NPT-ported components such as solenoid valves, pressure switches, flow controls, and manifold blocks. The NPTF thread form provides a pressure-tight mechanical seal without relying solely on sealant tape. The compact round body profile allows installation in panel cutouts and tight enclosures where hex-body fittings may not fit. It is sold individually and is appropriate for low-volume service and repair work as well as OEM assembly.
Designed for use with 1/4 inch OD tubing in push-to-connect pneumatic and fluid systems that terminate at a 1/4 inch NPTF male threaded port. Verify tubing material and system pressure and temperature against rated values before installation.
Installation is performed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, or qualified mechanics working on pneumatic or fluid control systems. Shut off and depressurize the system completely before removing or installing any fitting. Thread engagement should follow standard NPTF hand-tight-plus-turns practice; apply thread sealant or PTFE tape as required by local code or system media. To release tubing from the push-to-connect end, depress the release collar squarely and withdraw the tube in a single straight pull — do not twist or angle the tube during removal.
