The PARKER W68PLP-3-4 is a push-to-connect male connector tube fitting designed for fast, tool-free tube connections in pneumatic and fluid distribution systems. Built from nickel-plated brass, it accepts 3/16 inch OD tubing on both tube ends and transitions to a 1/4 inch NPTF male thread. The fitting is rated to 300 psi maximum working pressure and handles temperatures from 0 degrees F to 200 degrees F. The nitrile O-ring provides a reliable seal across a broad range of media, and the black push-button release is made from UL 94 V-0 flame-resistant material, adding a measure of safety in installations near ignition sources.
This fitting is suited for residential and light commercial pneumatic plumbing, compressed air distribution, and fluid control lines where a tube-to-male-NPT transition is needed. It is commonly installed in HVAC control circuits, pneumatic actuator supply lines, and compressed-air instrumentation runs. The push-to-connect design allows a technician to complete a secure tube connection without ferrules, compression sleeves, or specialized tooling, reducing labor time during assembly or service calls.
Designed as an OEM-style push-to-connect replacement or new-installation fitting for systems using 3/16 inch OD tubing with a 1/4 inch NPTF male port connection.
Installation and removal should be performed by a qualified plumbing, HVAC, or pneumatic systems technician. Depressurize and isolate the line completely before disconnecting or inserting the fitting. Ensure tube ends are cut square, deburred, and free of contaminants before inserting into the push-to-connect port. Apply thread sealant or PTFE tape to the NPTF male threads as required by the applicable plumbing or mechanical code for the jurisdiction.
