The PARKER W172PLP-8-4 is a push-to-connect male branch tee tube fitting constructed of nickel-plated brass. It connects two tube runs and one male threaded port in a single body, providing a compact branch point in pneumatic or fluid distribution lines. The fitting accepts 1/2 inch OD tubing on the tube ports and uses a 1/4 inch NPTF male thread on the branch port. Maximum working pressure is 300 psi. The release button is made from black, flame-resistant material rated to the UL 94 V-0 standard. Nitrile O-rings provide the internal tube seal. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and fluid-system installers work with this fitting on light to medium-duty lines.

Power down or depressurize the system completely before disconnecting or installing any push-to-connect fitting. Verify that tubing OD and wall thickness are within the fitting manufacturer's specifications before insertion. Inspect tubing cut ends for squareness and burrs, as irregular ends can compromise the O-ring seal. To release tubing, depress the collet button fully while pulling the tube straight out; do not torque or angle the tube during removal.
