Depressurize and de-energize the system fully before removing or installing any fittings. Ensure NPT threads are properly sealed with thread sealant tape or compound per applicable codes such as IFGC or IPC. Insert tubing until it bottoms out in the push-to-connect port to achieve a full seal. To release tubing, press the release button while pulling the tube back; inspect tubing cut ends for squareness and burrs before reinsertion.
