The PARKER W172PLP-5/32-2 is a push-to-connect male branch tee tube fitting designed for pneumatic and fluid control line work. It connects 5/32 inch OD tubing on two ports to a 1/8 inch NPTF male threaded port, creating a branch from a main tube run without the need for additional tools or ferrules. Constructed from nickel-plated brass, this fitting handles working pressures up to 300 psi and operates across a temperature range of 0 to 200 degrees F. The push-to-connect button is made from black, flame-resistant material rated to the UL94 V-0 standard. Sealing is provided by a nitrile O-ring. HVAC technicians, plumbers, and instrumentation technicians install this fitting in control systems, air lines, and fluid distribution panels.
This fitting is suited for residential and light commercial applications where a compact branch connection is needed in a pneumatic control line or low-pressure fluid system. The Tube x MNPT x Tube x Male connection style allows a direct threaded entry into a valve, manifold, or instrument port while maintaining two inline tube connections. The 1.54 inch overall length keeps the assembly compact in tight panel or equipment enclosures. Typical installations include HVAC control tubing, compressed air distribution, and OEM equipment assemblies.
Designed as an OEM-style push-to-connect fitting for pneumatic control and fluid distribution systems using 5/32 inch OD tubing with 1/8 inch NPTF male threaded connections.
Installation should be performed by a licensed HVAC technician, plumber, or instrumentation mechanic. Depressurize and isolate the system before removing or installing any fitting. Ensure tubing is cut cleanly and squarely and inserted fully into the push-to-connect port until it seats. Verify the NPTF threaded port is clean and apply appropriate thread sealant in accordance with applicable plumbing or pneumatic codes before torquing the fitting into the mating port.
