The PARKER W172PLP-2-2 is a push-to-connect male branch tee tube fitting constructed from nickel-plated brass. It creates a three-way connection in pneumatic or fluid tubing systems, accepting 1/8-inch OD tube on two ports and threading into a 1/8-inch NPTF male port on the third. The push-to-connect mechanism allows fast, tool-free tube insertion and removal by pressing the release button. Rated to 300 psi maximum working pressure with an operating range of 0 degrees F to 200 degrees F, this fitting is suited for compressed air lines, instrumentation tubing, and light fluid handling. HVAC technicians, plumbers, and industrial service techs install this fitting in control and sensing circuits where a reliable branch connection is required.
This fitting is used in residential and light commercial pneumatic control lines, instrument air tubing, and fluid distribution systems that use 1/8-inch OD tubing. Its male NPT branch port threads directly into equipment housings, manifolds, or valve bodies. The compact overall length of 1.48 inches makes it appropriate for tight panel or equipment enclosure installations. The nitrile O-ring seals against fluid or air leakage across the rated temperature and pressure range.
Designed for use with 1/8-inch OD tubing and 1/8-inch NPTF threaded ports in pneumatic control, instrumentation, and light fluid handling systems.
This fitting is typically installed by HVAC technicians, plumbers, or instrumentation technicians working on low-pressure pneumatic or fluid control lines. Depressurize and isolate the line completely before disconnecting or installing any push-to-connect fitting. Ensure tubing ends are cut cleanly and squarely with no burrs before insertion to maintain a proper seal. Thread the NPTF male port into the receiving fitting or manifold using appropriate thread sealant in accordance with applicable plumbing or mechanical codes.
