The PARKER W172PLP-12M-4R is a push-to-connect swivel male branch tee fitting designed for pneumatic and fluid tubing systems. It provides a three-way connection with two push-to-connect tube ports and one swivel male threaded port, allowing quick, tool-free tube insertion on the push-connect ends. Constructed from nickel-plated brass with a silicone-free grease lubricant, this fitting is rated to 300 psi maximum working pressure and handles temperatures from 0 degrees F to 200 degrees F. The BSPT male thread and 12mm outside diameter tube compatibility make it suited for metric tube installations. HVAC technicians, pneumatic system installers, and industrial maintenance trades use this fitting for branch line connections in compressed air and fluid distribution systems.
This fitting is appropriate for use in residential and light commercial pneumatic plumbing and fluid control systems where a branch tee connection is needed without soldering, brazing, or ferrule-style compression fittings. The push-to-connect design accepts 12mm OD tubing and releases with a yellow button for quick disconnects during service or reconfiguration. The swivel male end allows the fitting to be oriented without twisting the connected tubing. It meets the UL94 V-0 flame resistance standard and uses silicone-free grease, which is important in environments sensitive to silicone contamination such as painting or certain instrumentation applications.
Designed as an OEM-style push-to-connect branch tee for pneumatic and fluid systems using 12mm outside diameter tubing with BSPT male thread connections. Confirm thread standard compatibility before installation, as BSPT is not interchangeable with NPT.
Installation should be performed by a qualified pneumatic or plumbing technician. De-pressurize and isolate the system fully before removing or installing any fittings. Ensure tubing is cut cleanly and squarely and that the tube end is free of burrs before inserting into the push-to-connect port. Apply appropriate thread sealant compatible with the system fluid on the BSPT male thread, and torque to the fitting manufacturer and system design specifications.
