The PARKER W169PLPNS5/32-4 is a push-to-connect 90-degree male elbow tube fitting designed for pneumatic and fluid control lines where a right-angle connection between a tube and a male NPT port is required. It accepts 5/32-inch outside diameter tubing on the push-to-connect ends and threads into a 1/4-inch NPTF port. The body is nickel-plated brass, rated to 300 psi maximum working pressure and a temperature range of 0 to 200 degrees F. The release button is made from black flame-resistant material that meets the UL94 V-0 standard. HVAC technicians, plumbers, and pneumatic system installers use this fitting where panel or equipment connections require a compact directional change.
This fitting is suited for use in residential and light commercial applications involving compressed air lines, pneumatic control circuits, and fluid transfer systems. The push-to-connect design allows fast tube insertion and tool-free disconnection by depressing the release button. The 90-degree angle makes it practical in tight equipment cabinets, manifold assemblies, or any installation where straight inline fittings cannot route tubing efficiently. The NPTF thread form provides a pressure-tight seal without the need for additional thread sealant, though local practice and system requirements should be followed.
Designed as an OEM-style push-to-connect replacement fitting for pneumatic control and fluid transfer lines using 5/32-inch OD tubing and 1/4-inch NPTF male ports.
Installation is performed by HVAC technicians, plumbers, or pneumatic system specialists. Before installation, depressurize and lock out the system per applicable safety procedures. Ensure the receiving port threads are clean and undamaged before threading in the NPTF connection to the proper engagement depth. Cut tubing squarely and deburr the end before inserting into the push-to-connect fitting to ensure a leak-free grip; do not insert kinked or damaged tubing.
