The PARKER W169PLPNS-8-6 is a push-to-connect 90-degree male elbow tube fitting manufactured from nickel-plated brass. It accepts tubing with a 1/2 inch outside diameter on both tube ports and connects to a 3/8 inch NPTF male threaded port, making it suited for routing pneumatic or fluid lines through a right-angle change in direction. The fitting is rated to 300 psi and carries a working temperature range of 0 degrees F to 200 degrees F. The push-to-connect mechanism uses a nitrile O-ring seal and a black flame-resistant button that meets the UL94 V-0 flame resistance standard. Installation requires no tools on the tube side — tubing seats and locks in a single push.
This fitting is designed for general-purpose pneumatic and fluid-line applications across HVAC, refrigeration, automotive brake line, and industrial plumbing systems. It is compliant with D.O.T. This fitting is typically installed by HVAC technicians, plumbers, or pneumatic system technicians. Shut down system pressure and depressurize the line completely before removing or installing any fitting. Ensure the NPTF threaded end is properly engaged with thread sealant or PTFE tape as appropriate for the application and local code requirements. To release tubing from the push-to-connect port, depress the collet ring before pulling the tubing free — do not pull tubing without depressing the collet, as this can damage the internal locking mechanism.
