The PARKER W169PLPNS-5-2 is a push-to-connect 90-degree male elbow tube fitting designed for quick, tool-free tube connections in pneumatic and fluid systems. It accepts 5/16-inch OD tubing on both tube ends and connects to a 1/8-inch NPTF male thread port. Constructed from nickel-plated brass, this fitting is rated for a maximum working pressure of 300 psi and handles temperatures from 0 to 200 degrees F. The push-to-connect mechanism allows a technician to seat tubing with a single push and release it by pressing the integrated button, which is made from black flame-resistant material rated to UL94 V-0. The nitrile O-ring provides a reliable seal across a broad range of media.
This fitting is suited for residential and light commercial HVAC, refrigeration, compressed air, and fluid-transfer applications where a right-angle direction change is needed between a threaded port and tubing runs. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before removing or installing any push-to-connect fittings. Ensure tubing is cut cleanly and squarely and that the OD is free of burrs, scoring, or deformation before insertion to guarantee a leak-free seat. Thread the NPTF male end into the mating port using appropriate thread sealant per the system manufacturer's recommendations and applicable codes. After pressurizing, verify the joint for leaks before returning the system to service.
