The PARKER W169PLP-8-8 is a push-to-connect 90-degree male elbow tube fitting constructed from nickel-plated brass. It connects 1/2-inch OD tubing to a 1/2-inch NPTF male threaded port in a right-angle orientation. Rated to 300 psi with an operating temperature range of 0 to 200 degrees F, this fitting is engineered for general-purpose pneumatic and fluid line applications. The push-to-connect mechanism allows fast, tool-free tube insertion while the NPTF thread end provides a pressure-tight mechanical seal. The release button is black flame-resistant material rated to UL94 V-0. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and fluid systems mechanics typically install this fitting in compressed air, brake, and pneumatic control lines.
This fitting is designed for general-purpose use in systems requiring a 90-degree change of direction between an OD tube and a male NPT port. Depressurize and drain the system completely before removing or installing any fittings. Ensure tubing is cut square and deburred before insertion into the push-to-connect end to achieve a proper seal. Thread the NPTF male end by hand first to avoid cross-threading, then tighten to the appropriate thread engagement. To release tubing, press the collet ring fully and pull the tube straight out.
