The PARKER W169PLP-6-8 is a push-to-connect 90-degree male elbow tube fitting designed for fast, tool-free tube connections in general-purpose pneumatic and fluid systems. Constructed from nickel-plated brass, this fitting connects 3/8 inch OD tubing to a 1/2 inch NPTF male thread with a 90-degree turn, making it well suited for tight routing applications. It is rated to 300 psi and handles temperatures from 0 degrees F to 200 degrees F. The black push-button release is made from flame-resistant material that meets UL94 V-0 standards. The O-ring seal is nitrile, providing reliable performance with common pneumatic media. This fitting is installed by HVAC technicians, plumbers, and mechanical contractors working with push-to-connect tubing systems.
This fitting is intended for general-purpose tube routing where a 90-degree direction change is needed between a tube run and a male NPT port. The tube-in, male-NPT-out configuration makes it a direct-connect solution for instruments, valves, manifolds, and equipment ports that accept 1/2 inch NPTF male thread. Compliant with D.O.T. Depressurize and de-energize the system completely before removing or installing any push-to-connect fittings. Ensure tubing is cut square, deburred, and clean before insertion to achieve a proper seal. To disconnect, press the release collar firmly against the fitting body while pulling the tubing straight out. Thread engagement to the NPTF port should follow applicable torque guidance per the equipment manufacturer and relevant plumbing or mechanical codes.
