The PARKER W169PLP-5-4 is a push-to-connect 90-degree male elbow tube fitting designed for fast, tool-free tube connections in pneumatic and fluid systems. Constructed from nickel-plated brass, it connects a 5/16-inch OD tube on two ports to a 1/4-inch NPTF male thread, providing a right-angle change of direction in a single compact body. It carries a maximum working pressure of 300 psi and handles temperatures from 0 degrees F to 200 degrees F. The black button is made from a flame-resistant material rated UL94 V-0. Licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, and industrial maintenance professionals install this fitting in compressed air, pneumatic control, and light fluid distribution lines.
This fitting is suited for residential and light commercial applications where a 90-degree directional change is needed without soldering, flaring, or additional compression hardware. The push-to-connect design allows fast assembly and disassembly directly in the field. Typical installation scenarios include pneumatic actuator lines, control tubing runs, and instrumentation plumbing where 5/16-inch OD tubing terminates at a 1/4-inch NPTF threaded port on a valve, manifold, or equipment panel.
Designed for use with 5/16-inch OD tubing and 1/4-inch NPTF male threaded ports in pneumatic, compressed air, and light fluid distribution systems.
Installation is performed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, or qualified industrial mechanics. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before removing or installing any fittings. Ensure the tube end is cut square, deburred, and free of contamination before inserting into the push-to-connect port. Apply thread sealant to the NPTF male thread in accordance with applicable IPC or system-specific requirements.
