The PARKER W169PLP-5-2 is a push-to-connect 90-degree male elbow tube fitting designed for quick, tool-free tube connections in fluid and pneumatic plumbing systems. Built from nickel-plated brass with a nitrile O-ring, it handles working pressures up to 300 psi and temperatures from 0 degrees F to 200 degrees F. The fitting accepts 5/16-inch OD tubing on the push-to-connect ends and threads to a 1/8-inch NPTF male port. The black push-button release is made from flame-resistant material rated to UL 94 V-0. HVAC technicians, plumbers, and pneumatic system installers use this fitting where a compact right-angle connection is required without the need for crimping or compression tools.
This fitting is suited for residential and light commercial applications involving pneumatic controls, refrigeration tubing runs, compressed air lines, and instrumentation plumbing. Its push-to-connect design speeds up installation in tight spaces where swaging or flare fittings would require extra clearance. The 90-degree elbow orientation makes it practical for routing tubing along panels or bulkheads where a straight fitting would create an awkward bend in the tube. The NPTF thread type provides a pressure-tight seal at the male threaded port without relying solely on tape or sealant.
Designed as an OEM-style push-to-connect fitting for pneumatic control, fluid transfer, and instrumentation plumbing systems using 5/16-inch OD tubing and 1/8-inch NPTF male ported components.
Installation is performed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, or instrumentation technicians working on pneumatic or fluid systems. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before servicing any fittings. Ensure tubing is cut square and deburred before inserting into the push-to-connect port to achieve a proper seal. Apply thread sealant or PTFE tape to the NPTF male threads per the applicable plumbing code before making up the threaded connection.
