The PARKER W169PLP-2-1 is a push-to-connect male elbow tube fitting designed for quick, tool-free tube connections in general-purpose pneumatic and fluid systems. Constructed from nickel-plated brass, this fitting accepts 1/8 inch OD tubing on the push-to-connect end and terminates with a 1/16 inch NPTF male thread on the other end. It is rated to 300 psi and handles operating temperatures from 0 degrees F to 200 degrees F. The black release button is made from UL94 V-0 flame-resistant material, adding a layer of safety compliance in applications where ignition resistance is required. HVAC technicians, pneumatic system installers, and plumbing professionals working with small-bore tubing circuits will find this fitting applicable across a range of light industrial and mechanical service environments.
This fitting is suited for general-purpose pneumatic tubing runs in residential and light commercial applications. It is compatible with standard 1/8 inch OD tubing and conforms to D.O.T. FMVSS571.106, SAE J2494, SAE J2494-3, and SAE J844 standards, making it appropriate for use in automotive brake and air systems as well as broader fluid conveyance installations where those standards govern the work. The elbow configuration allows directional changes in tight spaces without bending or stressing the tubing.
Designed for use with 1/8 inch OD tubing in general-purpose pneumatic and fluid systems requiring a push-to-connect to 1/16 inch NPTF male elbow transition.
Installation is performed by licensed plumbing, HVAC, or pneumatic system technicians depending on the application. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before removing or installing any fitting. Ensure tubing ends are cut cleanly and squarely and are free of burrs before inserting into the push-to-connect port. Consult applicable codes such as the IPC or relevant SAE and D.O.T. requirements for the specific system type being serviced.
