The PARKER VS68NTA-12-12 is a brass compression tube connector designed for joining tubing to male NPT threaded ports in fluid and pneumatic line applications. The fitting features a compression inlet on one end and a 3/4-inch male NPTF thread on the other, providing a reliable, leak-resistant mechanical connection without soldering or flaring. Rated to 150 psi maximum working pressure and compatible with temperatures ranging from -40 degrees F to 200 degrees F, this connector meets D.O.T. FMVSS571.106, SAE J1131, and SAE J246 standards. Installation should be performed by a qualified plumber, pipefitter, or hydraulic technician familiar with compression fitting assembly procedures. Depressurize and isolate the fluid circuit completely before removing or installing any fittings. Compression fittings require proper tubing preparation including square cuts and clean, deburred ends to achieve a leak-free seal. Thread engagement should follow NPTF sealing practices per applicable standards; do not overtighten, as brass threads can be damaged.
