The PARKER VS272NTA-10-8 is a brass compression tube male branch tee designed for use in fluid and gas distribution systems requiring a reliable three-way connection. This fitting features compression connections on two ends and a male NPTF threaded outlet, allowing technicians to branch off an existing compression line while maintaining a threaded port connection. Rated to 150 psi maximum working pressure and suitable for temperatures from -40 degrees F to 200 degrees F, this fitting is built for demanding service environments. The brass construction resists corrosion and provides durability in both wet and dry plumbing and instrumentation applications.
This male branch tee is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing, HVAC refrigerant and pneumatic control lines, and instrumentation tubing installations where a branch takeoff is required. The compression-by-compression-by-MNPT configuration makes it practical for connecting copper or compatible soft tubing runs to threaded ports on valves, manifolds, or equipment panels. It is commonly installed by licensed plumbers and HVAC technicians working with 1/2 inch compression tubing systems.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for compression tube systems using 1/2 inch NPTF male threaded ports in plumbing, HVAC, and fluid instrumentation applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified HVAC technician in accordance with applicable IPC or local plumbing code requirements. Shut off and depressurize the line fully before removing any existing fittings or making new connections. Ensure tubing ends are cut cleanly and deburred before inserting into compression fittings to prevent leaks. Do not overtighten compression nuts, as brass fittings can deform and leak if torqued beyond hand-tight plus the standard fraction of a turn appropriate for compression connections.
