The PARKER VS272AB-10-8 is a brass compression tube male branch tee designed for fluid and pneumatic line installations where a single inline connection must branch off to a third port. The fitting features dual compression ends and one male NPTF threaded port, sized at 1/2-14 thread. Constructed from brass, it handles working pressures up to 400 psi and operates across a wide temperature range of -65 degrees F to 250 degrees F. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and pipefitters install this type of fitting when routing copper or compatible tubing systems that require a branched flow path without soldering or brazing.
This male branch tee is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing, refrigeration lines, pneumatic control systems, and instrumentation tubing runs. The compression connections allow for tool-assisted, no-solder installation on compatible tubing, while the MNPT port threads directly into a female NPT-tapped port on a valve, manifold, or equipment housing. It is packaged and sold individually.
Designed as an OEM-style compression branch fitting for use in copper or compatible tubing systems requiring a male NPT branch outlet in plumbing, HVAC, pneumatic, or instrumentation applications.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber or HVAC technician. Shut off system pressure and depressurize the line completely before disassembly or fitting installation. Compression fittings require proper tube preparation including square-cut, deburred tubing ends and correct ferrule seating — do not overtighten, as brass compression components can deform. Thread the MNPT port using appropriate thread sealant or PTFE tape in accordance with applicable IPC or IFGC guidelines for the service fluid.
