The PARKER VS269AB-4-2 is a brass compression tube male elbow fitting designed to connect compression tubing to a male NPTF threaded port at a 90-degree angle. It carries a 1/8-27 NPTF thread and is rated for a maximum working pressure of 400 psi across a temperature range of -65 to 250 degrees F. Manufactured from brass, this fitting meets D.O.T. FMVSS571.106 and SAE J246 standards, making it suitable for demanding fluid and pneumatic line applications. Licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, and pneumatic system installers work with this fitting in both commercial and residential environments.
This elbow fitting is used in hydraulic, pneumatic, and fluid transfer systems where a direction change is required between a compression tube and a male NPTF threaded component. The compression-by-male-NPTF end configuration makes it well suited for instrument tubing, brake line assemblies, and refrigeration or compressed-air piping connections that must meet DOT and SAE performance standards.
Designed as an OEM-style compression tube fitting for pneumatic, hydraulic, and fluid transfer systems that require a 1/8-27 NPTF male threaded port connection with a compression tube inlet.
Installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with compression fitting assembly and NPTF thread engagement. Depressurize and isolate the line completely before disassembling any fittings. Use appropriate tube cutters and deburring tools to ensure a clean, square tube end before seating the compression nut and ferrule. NPTF threads are designed to seal on the thread form itself; avoid over-tightening, which can damage the fitting or the mating port.
