The PARKER tg.lsin141212015-fn is a TwinGel preinsulated copper line set designed for refrigerant line applications in air conditioning and heat pump systems. It pairs 1/4-inch and 1/2-inch ASTM B280 copper tubing, each wrapped in 1/2-inch UL Verified polyethylene foam insulation rated for 3-year anti-UV durability. The set ships at 15 feet with flare nuts included, ready for connection at both ends. The insulation carries a R-Value of 4.0 and is paintable for installations where aesthetics or code require finished line coverage. UL Certification applies to both the tubing and insulation. This line set is compatible with R-410A and other high-pressure refrigerants.
This line set is suited for residential and light commercial installations including unitary split systems, ductless mini-splits, VRF systems, and heat pumps. The 15-foot length covers short lineset runs common in wall-mount mini-split installs or replacement jobs where the indoor and outdoor units are in close proximity. Each roll is foot-marked along its length to support accurate refrigerant charging calculations and minimize waste during trimming. The liquid and suction lines are machinery attached, keeping them aligned during routing. HVAC technicians and refrigeration mechanics are the primary installers.
Suitable for all air conditioning applications including unitary systems, ductless mini-splits, VRF systems, and heat pumps. Compatible with R-410A and other high-pressure refrigerants.
Installation should be performed by a licensed HVAC technician or refrigeration mechanic holding the appropriate EPA Section 608 certification. Power down and isolate the system before connecting or disconnecting refrigerant lines. Flare connections must be made with calibrated flaring tools to ensure leak-free joints. Refer to local mechanical codes and the equipment manufacturer instructions for minimum bend radius, support spacing, and penetration requirements.
