The PARKER T11R20A is a string-wound polypropylene cotton cartridge filter designed for plumbing and water filtration applications. It measures 20 inches in length with a 2.5-inch outside diameter and delivers a 50-micron filtration rating, making it effective for removing sediment, sand, rust particles, and other suspended solids from water lines. The string-wound construction provides depth filtration, trapping particles throughout the media rather than just at the surface. This filter is suited for use in standard cartridge filter housings and is installed by licensed plumbers or qualified water treatment technicians in residential and light commercial systems.
This cartridge is appropriate for cold and moderately warm water service lines where sediment control is required. The polypropylene cotton construction with a polypropylene plastic core makes it compatible with a range of water chemistry conditions, though it carries a non-FDA material grade designation. It is rated for a maximum working temperature of 120 degrees F. Typical installation scenarios include pre-filtration for water softeners, whole-house sediment filters, and irrigation supply lines.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement for standard 20-inch string-wound cartridge filter housings accepting a 2.5-inch outside diameter cartridge.
Installation is performed by a licensed plumber or qualified water treatment technician. Shut off the main water supply and relieve pressure from the filter housing before removing the spent cartridge. Standard filter housing wrenches are used to open the sump; inspect the O-ring and housing threads before re-seating the new cartridge. Follow all applicable IPC requirements for potable or non-potable water service connections.
