The PARKER SSH4-62 is a straight female pipe rigid coupler fitting designed for high-pressure hydraulic and fluid system connections. Built from stainless steel with an NPTF threaded interface, it delivers a maximum working pressure of 5,000 psi and handles temperatures from -15 degrees F to 400 degrees F. The 1/2 inch hose size and 1/2 inch thread size make it a direct-connect solution for joining hydraulic hose assemblies to pipe or manifold ports. It is installed by hydraulic system technicians and millwrights in industrial, mobile equipment, and process piping applications where corrosion resistance and leak-free performance are required.
This fitting is suited for use in food and chemical processing lines, industrial hydraulic systems, mobile equipment circuits, gas lines, and water and coolant circuits. Its stainless steel construction makes it appropriate for environments where carbon steel fittings are vulnerable to corrosion or contamination. The straight body profile simplifies routing in tight spaces where angled fittings are not needed. Compliance with ISO 7241-1 Series B ensures dimensional interchangeability with other fittings built to that standard.
Rated for use with food and chemical processing lines, gas lines, industrial hydraulic lines, mobile equipment hydraulic circuits, and water and coolant lines. Part of the Parker Series 60 fitting family with NPTF shaft type and 1/2 inch coupler size.
Installation should be performed by a qualified hydraulic technician or pipefitter. De-energize the hydraulic system and relieve all line pressure before disconnecting or installing any fittings. NPTF threads are designed for dry-seal engagement, but always follow the system designer's specifications for thread engagement and sealant use. Inspect threads for damage before assembly and torque to the system designer's specified value using calibrated tooling.
