The PARKER R46-03BK is a miniature compressed air regulator designed to reduce and maintain downstream pressure in pneumatic systems. Part of the Parker R46 series, this regulator accepts supply pressures up to 150 psi and provides an adjustable output range of 0 to 60 psi through a 3/8-inch NPT port. The plastic body keeps weight low at 0.38 pounds, making it a practical choice for compact panel-mount or inline installations. This regulator is suited for applications involving compressed air or water service within a temperature range of 40 to 125 degrees F. The 1/4-inch gauge port thread allows an optional downstream pressure gauge to be added without additional fittings. No internal relief function is included, so downstream pressure relief must be addressed separately if the application requires it.

Installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with pneumatic system service. Depressurize and lock out the air supply before connecting or disconnecting the regulator. Apply thread sealant appropriate for plastic fittings on the NPT connections and avoid over-torquing, which can crack the plastic body. If the application requires downstream overpressure protection, install a separate relief valve, as this regulator does not include an internal relief function.
