The R46-02BK is suited for compressed air applications in residential and light commercial environments. Operating temperatures range from 40 degrees F to 125 degrees F, covering standard indoor pneumatic system conditions. Note that Parker lists water as a compatible fluid type for this regulator, making it applicable in light water-pressure regulation scenarios in addition to compressed air service. No pressure gauge is included, but a 1/4 inch gauge port is available if monitoring is required.
Designed as an OEM-style miniature regulator for compressed air and water pneumatic systems using 1/4 inch NPT connections where downstream pressure must be regulated to 60 psi or below from supply lines up to 150 psi.
Installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with pneumatic or fluid control systems. Depressurize and lock out the supply line before installing or removing the regulator. Apply appropriate thread sealant to NPT connections per industry practice — do not over-torque plastic-bodied fittings. Verify downstream pressure with a calibrated gauge at the 1/4 inch gauge port before returning the system to service.
