The PARKER R46-02AK is a miniature compressed air regulator designed to reduce and maintain downstream pressure in pneumatic systems. It accepts a maximum supply pressure of 150 psi and delivers a regulated output range of 0 to 25 psi, making it well suited for low-pressure instrumentation, light assembly tools, and process control applications. The plastic body keeps weight low at 0.38 pounds. The 1/4-inch NPT port fits standard pneumatic line connections. No integral pressure gauge is included, but a 1/4-inch gauge port is present for field-mounted gauges. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and industrial maintenance technicians are the typical installers for this type of regulator.
The R46-02AK is rated for fluid types including water, making it usable in both air and light water service applications. Its miniature form factor suits space-constrained panel or manifold installations in industrial, commercial, and light manufacturing environments. The operating temperature range is 40 degrees F to 125 degrees F, which covers most indoor and conditioned-space installations. Where a compact regulator with a low output pressure range is required, this unit fits common inline pneumatic circuit designs.
Designed as an OEM-style miniature regulator for 1/4-inch NPT pneumatic and light water service lines requiring regulated output in the 0 to 25 psi range.
Installation should be performed by a qualified pipefitter, pneumatic technician, or industrial maintenance mechanic. Depressurize the supply line completely and verify zero pressure before disconnecting any existing regulator or fittings. Apply appropriate thread sealant to NPT connections per system requirements and applicable codes. Do not exceed the 150 psi maximum supply pressure rating or operate outside the 40 to 125 degrees F temperature range.
