The PARKER R45-03B is a miniature compressed air regulator designed to control downstream air pressure in pneumatic systems. Part of the R45 series, this regulator accepts a maximum supply pressure of 150 psi and delivers a maximum flow rate of 35 CFM through a 3/8 inch NPT port. It includes a built-in relief function to vent excess downstream pressure when the set point is exceeded. The plastic body keeps weight low at 0.38 pounds, making it well suited for space-constrained panel or inline installations. Licensed pneumatic system technicians, maintenance mechanics, and industrial service professionals are the typical installers.
The R45-03B is used in light-duty and space-sensitive compressed air applications where a compact footprint is required. Its 3/8 inch NPT end connections and miniature form factor fit well in pneumatic control panels, automation equipment, and point-of-use air lines. The regulator handles compressed air only and is rated for fluid temperatures starting at 40 degrees F minimum. The adjustable pressure range runs from 0 to 60 psi output, making it appropriate for tools, actuators, and instruments that require regulated low-to-medium pressure air supply. No pressure gauge is included, though a 1/4 inch gauge port is provided for an optional field-installed gauge.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct installation miniature air regulator for compressed air systems using 3/8 inch NPT porting and requiring a 0 to 60 psi regulated output.
Installation should be performed by a qualified pneumatic or mechanical technician. Depressurize and lock out the air supply line before removing any existing regulator or fitting the R45-03B into the system. Apply thread sealant appropriate for compressed air service to NPT threads per standard practice. Verify downstream pressure setting with a calibrated gauge before returning the system to service.
