The PARKER R25-02A is a miniature compressed air regulator designed to reduce and maintain downstream pressure in pneumatic systems. Part of the R25 series, it accepts supply pressures up to 150 psi and delivers a regulated output across a 0 to 25 psi range. The regulator includes a built-in relief function, allowing it to vent excess downstream pressure without requiring a separate relief valve. Its compact plastic body measures 1.6 inches wide by 3.1 inches high, making it well suited for space-constrained installations. Licensed technicians and industrial maintenance professionals working on pneumatic control circuits or compressed air distribution systems are the typical installers.
The R25-02A is intended for compressed air service in light-duty and miniature pneumatic applications. The 1/4 inch NPT port connections fit standard pneumatic fittings and manifold assemblies. An additional 1/8 inch NPT gauge port is included for field-installation of a pressure gauge if monitoring is required, though no gauge is included with this unit. Operating temperature range is 40 degrees F to 125 degrees F, making it appropriate for indoor compressed air systems in conditioned or semi-conditioned spaces. It is not rated for liquid, steam, or gas service beyond compressed air.
Designed as an OEM-style miniature compressed air regulator for pneumatic systems using 1/4 inch NPT connections and requiring downstream pressures within the 0 to 25 psi range.
Installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with pneumatic systems and compressed air distribution. Depressurize the supply line completely before installing or removing the regulator. Apply thread sealant appropriate for pneumatic service to all NPT connections and torque fittings per fitting manufacturer guidelines. Verify flow direction and mount the regulator in a position that allows access to the adjustment knob and gauge port.
