The PARKER R24-02BK is a miniature compressed air regulator designed to reduce and maintain downstream pressure in pneumatic systems. Part of the Parker R24 series, it accepts a maximum supply pressure of 150 psi and provides an adjustable output range of 0 to 60 psi through a 1/4 inch NPT port. The plastic body keeps weight low at 0.25 pounds, making it well suited for space-constrained installations. A 1/8 inch gauge port is included for optional pressure monitoring. Licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, and industrial maintenance technicians install this type of regulator wherever precise, low-volume pressure regulation is required.
The R24-02BK is intended for use in miniature pneumatic control circuits and compressed air distribution lines in both residential and light commercial applications. It operates across a temperature range of 40 degrees F to 125 degrees F, covering typical indoor mechanical room and panel environments. The unit is also rated for water service, expanding its use to low-pressure water regulation tasks. No integral relief function is included, so downstream pressure relief must be provided separately if required by the application or applicable codes.
Designed as an OEM-style miniature regulator for compressed air and water service lines using standard 1/4 inch NPT connections, consistent with Parker R24 series applications.
Installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with pneumatic or fluid system work. Depressurize and lock out the supply line before removing any existing regulator or fitting. Ensure all NPT threaded connections are made with appropriate thread sealant rated for the service fluid. Verify that the downstream system does not require a relief valve before commissioning, as this regulator does not include an integral relief function.
