The PARKER R230-03D is a diaphragm-operated compressed air regulator designed to control downstream pressure in pneumatic systems. It accepts supply pressures up to 250 psi and delivers a regulated output in the 2 to 150 psi range, making it well suited for a broad range of industrial and trade applications. The regulator flows up to 80 CFM and connects via 3/8-inch NPT ports. An aluminum body keeps weight low at 1.75 pounds. A built-in relief function vents excess downstream pressure when the regulator closes, protecting connected equipment without requiring a separate relief valve.
The R230-03D is part of the Parker R230 series and fits typical compressed air distribution systems in commercial, industrial, and mechanical trade environments. It is installed inline on compressed air lines supplying pneumatic tools, control valves, actuators, and similar equipment requiring a stable, regulated supply pressure. A 1/4-inch gauge port thread is included for optional pressure gauge installation, though no gauge is supplied with the unit. The diaphragm design provides stable pressure regulation across varying flow demands.
Designed as a standard inline replacement for diaphragm-operated compressed air regulators with 3/8-inch NPT connections in industrial and mechanical compressed air systems.
Installation is performed by licensed pipefitters or qualified mechanical technicians working on compressed air systems. Depressurize and lock out the air supply line completely before removing any existing regulator or making new connections. Apply appropriate thread sealant or PTFE tape to NPT threads per the system design requirements and local mechanical codes. Flow direction must be observed as marked on the regulator body; installing in reverse will result in improper operation.
