The PARKER R230-03C is a diaphragm-operated compressed air regulator designed to control and maintain downstream air pressure in pneumatic systems. Rated for a maximum supply pressure of 250 psi and a working pressure range of 0 to 60 psi, it delivers up to 80 CFM of airflow through a 3/8 inch NPT port. The aluminum body keeps weight low at 1.75 pounds while providing durability in industrial and commercial environments. A built-in relief function allows excess downstream pressure to vent when the set point is exceeded, protecting downstream equipment. This regulator is installed by industrial maintenance technicians, pipefitters, and compressed air system specialists.
The R230-03C is suited for compressed air distribution systems where precise downstream pressure regulation is required. Typical applications include pneumatic tool supply lines, production equipment air feeds, and general-purpose compressed air circuits in light industrial and commercial facilities. The 3/8 inch NPT end connections are compatible with standard pipe fittings common in these installations. The integrated relief function makes it appropriate for systems where downstream overpressure protection is required without a separate relief valve. No pressure gauge is included, but a 1/4 inch gauge port is available if a gauge is needed.
The PARKER R230-03C belongs to the R230 series and is designed for use in compressed air systems with 3/8 inch NPT pipe connections and supply pressures up to 250 psi.
Installation should be performed by a qualified pipefitter or compressed air system technician. Depressurize and lock out the compressed air supply before installing or servicing the regulator. Apply appropriate thread sealant to NPT connections and tighten to fitting manufacturer specifications — do not overtighten aluminum-bodied regulators. Verify that supply pressure does not exceed the 250 psi rated maximum and that the system operating range falls within the 0 to 60 psi output range of this unit.
