The PARKER R230-02B is a diaphragm-operated compressed air regulator designed to maintain consistent downstream pressure in pneumatic systems. Built from aluminum with a 1/4-inch NPT port, this regulator handles supply pressures up to 250 psi and delivers a maximum flow rate of 80 CFM. The diaphragm design provides stable, responsive pressure control across a wide output range of 0 to 30 psi. A built-in relief function allows excess downstream pressure to vent automatically when the set point is exceeded. Licensed HVAC technicians, industrial maintenance techs, and plumbing professionals install this type of regulator on air supply lines, compressor drops, and pneumatic tool feeds.
The R230-02B is suited for compressed air service in both light industrial and trade applications. Its 1/4-inch NPT connections fit standard air supply plumbing, making it a direct-fit solution for tool stations, control air lines, and instrument air feeds. The unit carries a minimum operating temperature rating of -40 degrees F, making it usable in cold-storage facilities, outdoor equipment enclosures, and unheated mechanical spaces. No pressure gauge is included, though a 1/4-inch gauge port is present for field installation of an independent gauge.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation regulator for compressed air systems using 1/4-inch NPT connections and operating within the 0 to 250 psi supply pressure range. Part of the PARKER R230 series.
Installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with compressed air system safety practices. Depressurize and lock out the air supply line before installing or removing the regulator. Follow applicable local codes and OSHA compressed air safety guidelines during service. Do not exceed the rated maximum supply pressure of 250 psi on the inlet port.
