The PARKER PT-00396 is a steel flared tube bulkhead union elbow designed to route tubing at a 45-degree angle through a panel or bulkhead wall in hydraulic and fluid system installations. It features a 37-degree flare angle with flare-to-flare end connections on both sides, accepting 1/4 inch tube OD. Rated to a maximum working pressure of 7500 psi, this fitting is built for demanding pressure applications in industrial, mobile hydraulic, and fluid power systems. Installation is performed by qualified technicians working with high-pressure tubing assemblies where secure, leak-free bulkhead penetrations are required.
This fitting is suited for applications requiring a 45-degree directional change at a bulkhead or panel wall, commonly found in hydraulic power units, mobile equipment, industrial machinery, and refrigeration or fuel line systems. The flare-by-flare configuration allows the fitting to connect two pre-flared tube ends on either side of a panel or enclosure. It is appropriate for both new installations and replacement work where a steel bulkhead union elbow at 1/4 inch tube OD is specified.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for high-pressure hydraulic and fluid power tubing systems using 1/4 inch OD tubing with 37-degree flare connections.
Installation should be performed by a qualified hydraulic or mechanical technician familiar with high-pressure flare fitting assemblies. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before removing or installing any fittings. Ensure tube ends are properly flared to the 37-degree specification before assembly to prevent leaks under pressure. Refer to applicable fluid power and hydraulic system codes for torque and assembly procedures appropriate to the system pressure rating.
