The PARKER PT-00390 is a stainless steel flared tube sleeve designed for use in high-integrity tubing assemblies where a secure, leak-resistant flare connection is required. The sleeve accepts a 1-inch tube OD and features a 37-degree flare angle, conforming to standard JIC flare geometry. Fabricated from stainless steel, this sleeve provides corrosion resistance suitable for demanding fluid and gas service environments. It is installed by qualified plumbers, HVAC technicians, and pipefitters working with flared tubing systems in both industrial and commercial applications.
This sleeve is used wherever 37-degree flare-end connections are required on 1-inch OD tubing. Typical applications include hydraulic lines, refrigerant piping, fuel systems, and compressed-air or instrumentation tubing runs. The flare sleeve seats against the tube end and mating flare nut to create a metal-to-metal seal, making it well suited for systems where thread sealants or soft-seat fittings are not appropriate. Each package contains two sleeves.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation sleeve for 1-inch OD tubing systems using standard 37-degree JIC flare fittings across hydraulic, refrigerant, fuel, and instrumentation tubing applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, pipefitter, or HVAC technician familiar with flared tubing procedures. Depressurize and isolate the tubing circuit completely before disassembling any flare connection. Ensure the tube end is cut square, deburred, and properly flared to the correct 37-degree angle before seating the sleeve. Follow applicable codes such as ASME B31.3 or IFGC for piping system pressure requirements and inspection criteria.
