The PARKER PT-00336 is a steel flared tube bulkhead union designed to create a secure, leak-resistant connection through a panel or bulkhead wall in hydraulic and fluid transfer systems. Featuring a 37-degree flare angle on both ends and a 3/8-inch tube outside diameter, this fitting provides a metal-to-metal seal capable of handling a maximum working pressure of 6000 psi. It is installed by licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and hydraulic system technicians wherever a flared-tube line must pass through a structural partition and maintain full-flow integrity under high-pressure service conditions.
This bulkhead union is suited for industrial, mobile hydraulic, and fluid power applications where flare-style tube connections must penetrate a mounting surface or enclosure wall. The flare-x-flare end configuration allows direct connection of two flared tube lines on opposite sides of a panel. Its steel construction makes it appropriate for use in systems carrying hydraulic fluid, fuel, or other compatible media in demanding environments.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for hydraulic and fluid power systems using 3/8-inch OD flared tubing with a 37-degree flare angle.
Installation is typically performed by licensed pipefitters, hydraulic technicians, or plumbers familiar with JIC-style flare fittings. Depressurize and drain the fluid system completely before removing or installing any fittings. Use appropriate flare nut wrenches to avoid rounding flats, and verify tube flare condition and seating surface before torquing. Follow applicable fluid power system codes and equipment manufacturer torque guidelines.
