The PARKER PT-00273 is a stainless steel flared tube male adapter designed for high-pressure fluid and gas line connections in demanding industrial, HVAC, and refrigeration applications. It accepts a 3/8 inch tube OD with a 37-degree flare seat on one end and a 1/8-27 NPTF threaded male connection on the other. The fitting is rated to 3,300 psi static working pressure and handles temperatures from -425 degrees F to 1,200 degrees F, making it suitable for cryogenic, high-temperature, and general-purpose hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Licensed HVAC technicians, pipefitters, and industrial mechanics typically specify this fitting for tubing assemblies that require a leak-free, vibration-resistant flared joint.
This adapter is used wherever a flared tube line must transition to a NPTF port on a valve body, manifold, compressor, or equipment housing. The 37-degree flare angle conforms to SAE J514 and ISO 8434-2 standards, so it is compatible with standard SAE 37-degree flare tube assemblies in residential and commercial HVAC equipment, refrigeration circuits, hydraulic systems, and precision fluid handling lines. The overall installed length is 1.24 inches, making it appropriate for tight-clearance panel or bulkhead installations. Each package contains 2 fittings.

Flare the tube to the correct 37-degree angle using a quality flaring tool before seating the fitting, as an improperly formed flare is a leading cause of joint leakage. NPTF threads are designed to seal on the thread form itself; verify thread engagement and do not overtighten, as stainless steel fittings are susceptible to galling.
