The PARKER PT-00260 is a brass flared tube male adapter designed to connect 37-degree flare tube ends to NPTF-threaded ports in hydraulic and fluid power systems. It accepts a 3/8 inch tube OD on the flare end and threads into a 1/2-14 NPTF port on the male end. With a maximum static working pressure of 6000 psi and a maximum dynamic working pressure of 3300 psi, this fitting is built for demanding hydraulic and pneumatic circuits. The brass construction offers good corrosion resistance in a wide range of fluid media. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and hydraulic system technicians are the primary installers of this fitting type.
This adapter is suited for use in industrial hydraulic systems, fluid power assemblies, and high-pressure tubing circuits where a 37-degree SAE flare connection must transition to a NPTF threaded port. It conforms to ISO 8434-2, SAE 070102, and SAE J514 standards, making it appropriate for both OEM and service applications. The overall installed length is 1.69 inches. Sold in packages of 5, it is a practical stocking item for shops and service fleets that regularly work with SAE flare fittings.
Designed for use in SAE 37-degree flare tube systems with 3/8 inch OD tubing transitioning to 1/2-14 NPTF ported components, in accordance with SAE J514 and ISO 8434-2 specifications.
This fitting should be installed by a qualified pipefitter, hydraulic technician, or licensed plumber familiar with SAE flare and NPTF thread connections. Depressurize and isolate the fluid circuit completely before removing or installing any fitting. Inspect the flare seat and NPTF threads for damage before assembly; do not install on deformed or cross-threaded ports. NPTF threads are designed to seal on the thread form, but always verify system pressure ratings against the fitting specifications after assembly.
