The PARKER PT-00246 is a steel flared tube male adapter designed for high-pressure hydraulic and fluid power lines. It connects a 37-degree flared tube end to a female NPTF port, providing a leak-resistant mechanical seal without the need for sealant tape on the thread. The adapter is rated for a maximum working pressure of 6000 psi and a maximum working temperature of 500 degrees F, making it suitable for demanding industrial and mobile equipment fluid systems. Verify that the mating tube end is cut square, deburred, and formed to the correct 37-degree flare angle before tightening.
