The PARKER PT-00219 is a flareless bite-type tube 90 degree elbow fitting designed to change flow direction in hydraulic, pneumatic, or fluid-transfer tubing lines. The fitting accepts 3/16 inch outside diameter tubing on the tube end and connects to a 1/8 NPTF threaded port on the male end. Bite-type flareless construction uses a ferrule that bites into the tube wall on assembly, eliminating the need for pre-flaring. This fitting is commonly installed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and fluid-system technicians working on instrumentation, refrigeration control lines, and small-bore hydraulic or pneumatic circuits.
This elbow is suited for residential and light commercial applications where a 90 degree directional change is needed in a small-bore tubing run. Typical installations include instrument air lines, control tubing, and fluid-power circuits where space constraints require a compact right-angle transition. The NPTF thread provides a pressure-tight mechanical seal when fully engaged in a compatible tapped port.
Designed as an OEM-style flareless bite-type fitting for small-bore fluid, pneumatic, or instrumentation tubing systems using 3/16 inch outside diameter tubing and 1/8 NPTF threaded ports.
Installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with flareless bite-type fitting assembly procedures. Always depressurize and isolate the tubing circuit before disassembly or connection. On initial assembly, advance the nut the manufacturer-specified number of turns past finger-tight to seat the ferrule without over-driving it. Inspect tubing ends for squareness and freedom from burrs before insertion.
